Shocking video from Cohoes shows garbage truck slamming into car

A garbage truck slammed into a silver car in Cohoes on Monday.

The crash happened on North Mohawk Street in front of LePage’s Market.

The owner of the market said he witnessed the crash.

Both drivers are OK, he said.

The car’s driver left the car in the middle of the road, asked for some water and walked up the street.Police arrived shortly after, looking for the driver, who allegedly left on foot.
