Michelle Nesbitt killed in street sweeper crash in Wayne County NY

A woman was killed in a crash after she drove into a street sweeper in Marion, Wayne County, on Monday morning, according to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said that Michelle L. Nesbitt, 49, of Marion was driving south on Parker Road in Marion just before 10:30 a.m., when she crashed into the back of a Town of Marion street sweeper truck, operated by Steven J. Taber, 55, of Marion. Both vehicles were southbound when Nesbitt's vehicle rear-ended the truck.

Nesbitt was pronounced dead at the scene. Taber was not injured in the crash.

Deputies continue to investigate the collision.
