One person was injured when a cement mixer truck rolled over Thursday morning near the community of Cokato.

The State Patrol reports that the incident happened around 9 AM when the Peterbilt concrete mix truck was westbound on U-S Highway 12 at Pittman Avenue, near the western city limits in Cokato. Officials say the driver lost control, and the truck rolled over on the roadway, and eventually into the ditch.

The driver of the vehicle, 46-year-old Kenneth Schlangen of Paynesville, sustained non-life threatening injuries in the crash. He was transported to the Buffalo Hospital for treatment.

No other vehicles were involved, but traffic in the area reportedly had to be temporarily routed around the crash scene. The Cokato Fire Department and Ambulance assisted the State Patrol.
